Our story is not of long walks in the park, or the gentle touch of raindrops on our lips as we savored moments in each others arms oblivious to the cold. We have transcended romance far and beyond. Nor is it of extreme pain and agony of not being together, torn apart by the laws of the world in futile struggle to bear weight and live on. Our story is simply about love. How it amuses itself on a whim to tinker with people and their lives, and how it reminds us of its magnificence everytime it is lost and the regained. Something, amid the romantic misinterpretation, that is oft-neglected and shunned.

It is in the in-betweens, the short pause of breath, the millisecond action of an eye blinking, where life stops and we are most at ease. Because living in a tumultuous world has made us forget to BE. For this, victory and sorrow seep in, reminiscent of days that passed and hopeful of better days than what is. For to love, one must first be content with self. The union of two people will only fortify the feeling of completeness. No amount of argument and degree of law could break it from its path.

Our story is that of love ignored, gained, lost, then found once again. Because it conquers all.
