If the A.P.I. song were sung by Salbakuta instead of the Black Eyed Peas, would we still be lapping it up like creamy milk to the fattest of cats? I think not. The fact that BEP has some tinge of "whiteness" to it makes us, Filipinos, think its some ode to the greatness of the Philippines. I'd like to think the group has a very good PR crew - to be aware that the county absorbs anything American, even if it sucks. And worse, even if another allegedly jologs Noypi group can do the same thing.
